USCIS reports that since 2008 the EB5 Visa Program has generated $25.7billion of investment.The EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program is actually quite simple: A foreign investor invests a minimum amount of money in a new American business, creates 10 jobs for Americans in exchange for a visa for the investor, spouse and minor children. Since it is hard to create 10 jobs with the lowest minimum investment of $500,000, Congress passed a Regional Center EB-5 Program which allows the businesses to get credit for indirect jobs.
